Overview

Eco-Active is a community application based around carbon offsetting, the goal of eco-active is to connect stakeholders working in the offsetting space. The goal of the application is to increase uptake in environmental projects such as carbon offsetting, while allowing individuals to effect change and connect/communicate around the issue of climate action.

Interviews/Questionnaire

Stakeholder interviews between both Glyn and John helped to justify the need for the research. Glyn started his own co-op carbon offsetting group in Ireland. Which farmers can join and participate in. Speaking to John Kelleher from offsetter.io gave the research insights into already existing user groups, such as individuals concerned about the environment, businesses, and partner organisations.
